iCALIFORNIA. (international Opportunities in California), introduces international business opportunities, technology and know-how from California to companies in China and Hong Kong SAR. iCALIFORNIA provides a practical forum for strategic dialogue between the regions business, technology and policy leaders, and the opportunity to convene, converge and collaborate on key issues and business projects.
Jointly sponsored by the California Office of Trade and Investment in China & Hong Kong SAR and the California Association of China & Hong Kong SAR Ltd., the iCALIFORNIA Luncheon Lecture Series is one of China and Hong Kong SARs most timely and successful international business and technology information programs.
iCALIFORNIA has covered hot topics like internet technology, wireless communications, Beijings informatization in preparation for the 2008 Olympics, biotechnology, the state of venture capital and its future in Hong Kong SAR and China, and telecommunications. Future programs will consider legal rights and responsibilities under WTO rules, branding and intellectual property rights, and Chinas developing media and entertainment industry.
