Ignatius Choong, Wells Fargo Bank

Ignatius Choong is the regional head for all of Wells Fargo's business activities in the Asia Pacific region.

In his 10 years at Wells Fargo, Mr. Choong has held various positions, with stints in Corporate Finance, Retail Banking and Investment Management. Prior to taking up his current post, he was Chief Finance Officer of Wells Capital Management (WCM) - the asset management arm of Wells Fargo & Company with $100 billion in assets under management. Mr. Choong is currently responsible for leading the bank's overall business in Asia, developing alliances, and managing corporate investment interests in the region.

Mr. Choong holds a bachelor of science degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a master degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas Graduate School of Business. He completed his earlier schooling in the United Kingdom and Malaysia. He is fluent in several languages and dialects including Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), and Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia.
