Benjamin Fok, New ePOCH information Co. Ltd.

Mr Benjamin Fok is the visionary and founder of New Epoch Information Co. Ltd. and CIEC (HK) Ltd. He foresaw the exciting and dynamic growth of the Internet and its implications that would significantly alter the trading practices between China and the world-at-large.

Mr. B. Fok brought his vision to the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) of the P.R.C. in 1998 and struck a deal to form the joint venture company CIEC (HK) Ltd in the fall of 1999. Mr. B. Fok developed the business model and is the sole architect and strategic planner. He directs and engineers the building of all strategic partnerships within and outside of China.

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia, Mr. B. Fok has 20 years of business experience, including 16 years as Director of the Henry Fok Ying Tung Group of Companies, where he actively orchestrates and oversees major development projects. The latest of these is the 22 sq. km new port of Nansha in Southern China, a new link to the rest of the world that includes infrastructure related to shipping, warehousing and fulfillment facilities. Still under planning is a Science Park serving Hong Kong SAR and the Southern China region.

Mr. Benjamin Fok is also a proud member of his family's Fok Ying Tung Foundation which has donated over 1 billion HK Dollars in support of development in China in the fields of education, health care, sports, and others.
