WHAT IS CACHK Founded in March 1990 when the California Trade Office was established, the California Association of China and Hong Kong SAR is a private, non-profit organization which serves as a network to promote economic, trade, and investment relationships between California, China, and Hong Kong SAR organizations.
CACHK OBJECTIVES The main objectives of the Association are to strengthen economic and cultural ties between California as the 5th largest economy in the world, with China which is one of the fastest growing regions in the world. CACHK assists California and Chinese firms in identifying and achieving business cooperation opportunities throughout California, China and Hong Kong SAR through special programs, updates, and events to further facilitate relationships and cooperation between our regions. This includes developing cross-border trade, investment, and strategic business opportunity information and value-added assistance into California. The Association also provides information and vehicles to enhancing cross-pacific business and contact opportunities between Chinese and Californian firms through various services.
